YOUR CITY YOUR WAY | A Guy’s Ultimate Nashville Day

    Breakfast: Hermitage Café

One of the city’s few restaurants to stay open 24 hours a day, Hermitage Café is favored among late night honky-tonkers and early morning businessmen alike. The décor is old-fashioned diner, and the food is classic. Breakfast favorites include the made-to-order steak and eggs plate as well as breakfast sandwiches served by a notoriously witty wait staff.

    Lunch: Gabby’s Burgers and Fries

Recently granted Nashville’s Best Burger award by the Nashville Scene, Gabby’s Burgers and Fries owner Doug Havron has achieved his motto: “Living the Dream.” His restaurant named for his daughter is quickly becoming a Nashville favorite. Gabby’s starts with a delicious, juicy, grass-fed beef burger and lets you choose how to top it. Stick to the basics with lettuce tomato and pickles, or be adventurous with kickin’ ketchup or wasabi mayo! Not into burgers? The “other stuff” menu has a chicken sandwich, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and chili, as well as delicious hand made sweet potato fries.
