Sprune, a production company based in Arlington, Texas, announced on Monday that they have partnered with Paste Magazine to bring Untapped, their indie music and beer festival, to Fort Worth, Dallas, Atlanta, and—our personal favorite—Nashville. According to the Untapped website, the Nashville festival will be in October, though the dates and location are yet to be defined.
Untapped first stepped out on the scene in 2012 at Trinity Groves in Dallas. Their first festival was so wildly successful that they have already expanded to three more cities for this year’s events.
The first of the four festivals, and the only date with details published at this point, takes place in Fort Worth, Texas on April 20th and features artists Justin Townes Earle, Deer Tick, Sarah Jaffe, and TENNIS. The festival will also host twelve different local brewing companies.
While names of artists and brewing companies have not been released yet for the Nashville date, we expect to see a similar format to that of the Fort Worth festival. Keep an eye on the Untapped site for more details as they become available.
