David McGowan, CEO of Regent Homes, said, ” There’s a high demand for housing within the Vanderbilt area,” both locations being within five minutes of the university and near other corporate employers such as Caterpillar Financial.
At 2116 Acklen Ave., Regent plans four neo-European courtyard, high-end town homes that will be sold for an average price of $650,000.
Regent is also planning four Charleston side-yard designed town homes at 3101 Bellwood St. in West End Park off West End Avenue. The units are to be sold for between $490,000 and $550,000 each.
Smith Gee Studio is the architect on both projects. Regent Homes is the general contractor.
