The Improving Markets Index | Nashville Real Estate

Today is a sharing-good-news kind of day! You may already be convinced that now is the time to jump head first in to the real estate market – what with the recovery seen in 2012 and the high closings reported in December and nearly every month of last year. (Read more about that here.)

Today we have yet more good news as it pertains to the middle Tennessee real estate market. We are now in a very esteemed club with some of the country’s top metro areas – including L.A. and Des Moines. It’s true. Last month, Nashville was among three of the nation’s cities to be added to the Improving Markets Index, run by the National Association of Home Builders and First American Title Insurance.

Chief Economists say the IMI has doubled in the past couple of months due to stronger demand during prime home buying season, which boosted prices across dozens of metropolitan areas.

We could not be more thrilled to be doing real estate here in the Nashville area, an area showing recovery and strength that just keeps getting better month by month. If you are ready to consider dipping your toes back in to the market by buying and/or selling a home, give us a call! And be sure to take a look at our current Nashville homes for sale while you’re at it.
