For everyone who enjoys a great brew while chilling by the pool, or just wants a to enjoy a nice local beer while eating a great dinner, there are several local breweries that provide Nashville with great beer year-round.
Yazoo Brewery is one of Nashville’s best known breweries with flavors to fit everyone’s taste buds. Yazoo officially opened in 2003 after its owner brewed for many years in his basement. Yazoo brews can be found throughout the state of Tennessee, Mississippi and northern Alabama.
Located at 910 Division St, Yazoo’s taproom is open Wednesday from 4-6, Thursday and Friday from 4-8 and Saturday from noon-6. Tours are also given on Saturdays.
Fat Bottom Beers is another Nashville staple in the beer market. Founded by the son of former Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, Fat Bottom has five main brews. Fat Bottom can be found at bars throughout Nashville or at the factory’s taproom at 900 Main Street in East Nashville.
The taproom is open Tuesday through Friday from 4-10 p.m. and Saturday from 2-10. Free tours are also given on Saturdays at 4!
Jackalope Brewing Company is the other Nashville beer staple. Located at 701 Eighth Ave S, Jackalope is the “Beer of Legends.” One of the most recent brewery openings in Nashville, Jackalope has really made a splash on the craft beer scene. With three staple beers, Jackalope is sure to delight everyone.
The taproom is open Thursday through Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday from noon-4.
