Fairvue Plantation has undergone a long and hard struggle with the closing and now the process of re-opening the former Club house and Golf course. After a long process, the Course and Club are set to re-open any day now!
The Gallatin Golf, LLC’s plan to purchase the golf course and clubhouse on behalf of Fairvue Plantation Homeowners Association has finally come to fruition. The intent was for the Fairvue HOA board to allow the golf course and clubhouse to be purchased by Gallatin Golf, LLC as a solely owned subsidiary of the HOA. In order for this to happen, the Private Placement Security Offering needed to raise at lease $2,000,000 to supplement the bank loans. The HOA was unable to raise that amount and therefore could not move forward or close the deal by the original close date of February 28th.
Prior to the 28th, the HOA Board voted to allow Gallatin Golf, LLC to move forward, independent of the HOA, as a separately owned corporation. The LLC proceeded with the purchase as a private corporation. Investors made up of members and homeowners invested in the company and allowed the purchase to be finalized on Monday, February 28th. The former golf course and clubhouse will now operate as “The Club at Fairvue Plantation.”
The Club at Fairvue Plantation has entered into contract with KemperSports which will now take over the management of The Club. The entire club should be open and entirely in place for action any day now. Obviously, much work has been done to complete the deal and it is the hope of the HOA Board that the club will open as quickly as possible and will be a wonderful place of enjoyment for the Fairvue community. The Club at Fairvue Plantation will re-open without new initiation fees and will simply open as a “Welcome Back!”
Earl Fischer, President of the HOA Board says, “It’s been a wild ride but the good news is: The Golf Course and Club will reopen!”
In addition, Fairvue’s neighbor, Foxland Harbor on Old Hickory Lake is proud to announce the grand opening of The Club at Foxland Harbor. It features an 18 hole championship golf course, named one of the top new coursed in the country by Golfweek magazine. The future amenities include a full service clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis facility. It is currently a semi-private club with plans to be fully private in the future, For a limited time, the club is offering a promotion to all prospective members including, $0 initiation fees, $265 for monthly Full Membership dues and $235 for monthly Jr. Executive dues.
