Show support for short term rentals in Nashville

support-rent-01A ban on non-owner occupied short term rentals (type 2 and 3) is now in place for Davidson County based on an on April 28, 2017 vote at a Metro Planning Commission Meeting:

“Metro Planning Commission voted to pass BL2017-608 and disapproved of amendment 1, 6-2. What this means is that no new non-owner occupied permits are to be issued in residential areas. Existing non-owner occupied permit holders to be considered ‘commercial’ upon renewal and phased out by June 28, 2019.” This is now with Metro City Council.

If you understand and value the importance of non-owner occupied short term rental properties (STRPs) in our ever-growing Music City, please plan to attend the Metro Council Meeting tonight, Tuesday, May 2, at 6:30 pm and spread the word! Wear blue to show your support of STRPs.
