Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante to Open Second Location in Nashville | Nashville Restaurants

Brace yourselves, Nashville! More incredible food is headed for Music City. The owners of a popular restaurant located in Miami, Sardinia Enoteca, plan to open a Nashville location early next year.

A lease was recently signed for the Nashville location, which will only be the second location in the country next to the Miami original, for 7.000 square feet in Park View Towers on 25th Ave. N. off Elliston Place, next to Kobe Steakhouse.

Co-owner and general manager for Sadinia Tony Gallo opened the Miami restaurant six years ago with co-owner and chef Pietro Vardeu. The restaurant has since received the spotlight from many different angles, including being featured on the Food Network show, “After Hours with Daniel Boulud,” in Food & Wine magazine, Bon Appétit and The New York Times, and was one of Zagat’s America’s Top Restaurants in 2011.

How has the restaurant managed to shine so brightly among other Italian eateries? The food served is more of a Mediterranean Italian style, with house-made mozzarella and burrata cheeses and the use of a wood-burning oven to cook meats and fish. The Miami location always places great significance on a wide selection of wines to pair perfectly with its food selection.
