With Thanksgiving just a few days away, the buzz of Christmas and the holidays can hardly be contained anymore and we know that it will be full blown by the time Friday rolls around.
If you are looking for a unique, fun and local way to get your holiday shopping done this year and avoid the chaos, traffic and noise of the mall, you might want to consider heading down to the 2012 Porter Flea Holiday Market!
This year’s Porter Flea Holiday Market will be held at Marathon Music Works on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Porter Flea supports the growing indie craft movement and supports artists, small businesses and nonprofits across Nashville and beyond.
Head to the Porter Flea Holiday Market to find a large assortment of items, including items such as paper goods, apparel, artwork, posters, furniture, home goods and jewelry. And there will be food trucks there – need we say more?!
The 2011 Porter Flea Holiday market saw over 2,500 attendees, 70 vendors, 5 food trucks and even a mobile letterpress! With a summer market that saw great success, there’s high hopes that this year’s Holiday Market will be the best one yet.
Head on out to Marathon Music Works on Saturday, Dec. 1. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the 2012 Porter Flea Holiday Market and get a head start (or perhaps put the finishing touches) on that holiday shopping list! Click here to visit the Porter Flea website.
