Once the beloved neighborhood wine bar of the 12South community, Rumour’s closed its doors in that area over a year ago to make way for the 12South Flats development.
The popular restaurant and wine bar has finally reopened though, less than a mile away from its former 12South location, in a new spot in the Gulch. The wine bar reopened its doors to the public just this past Wednesday at the base of the Icon condominium tower at Division and 12th Avenue.
Most of its dishes and drinks remain the same, but of course with a new space must come some new developments. On the beverage side, Rumours now has a full bar with cocktails and high-gravity beers and 8-ounce glasses of all wine selections are available for a couple extra dollars, in addition to the previously offered 5-ounch glasses.
There are two dining rooms; one can be used for special events. There’s also a patio that will be kitted out with tables by the time warm weather returns.
