Thank you to all who came out to the New Years Nashville party to ring in 2010 with us! We loved seeing all of you in your party clothes, dancing the night away. The party was sold out as we were able to sell all 350 tickets to the event. The party benefitted both People Loving Nashville and W.O. Smith school of music.
It was A Night to Give Back, and we are proud to donate to People Loving Nashville. Not only do People Loving Nashville feed the homeless on Monday nights, but they also take special care to love on these people by sharing time with them, and sometimes donate clothes and help to meet other basic needs. To find out more about them, or to learn how you can help, visit www.peoplelovingnashville.com.
Using the the W. O. Smith facility also proved to be beneficial for them as well. They are a nonprofit educational institution created for the purpose of making quality music instruction available to children from low income families at the nominal fee of 50 cents a lesson. Instruction is provided by area musicians from many elements of the Nashville music scene: studio musicians, symphony players, college professors, public school teachers, church musicians, private teachers and university students. There are over 350 students, ages 7-18, from across the middle Tennessee area participating in over 500 different courses. Visit www.wosmith.org for more info.
