New Reality Show Headed To Nashville | Nashville News

BBC Worldwide Production Co. just announced that it will be bringing its Junior Doctors show to Nashville.

The show, which currently airs in the United Kingdom, showcases doctors in their first year of residency. It has casted eight residents, with 31 crew members, 15 being from Nashville. It will focus on the residents while they are on 24-hour a shift. The show has informed residents of Fairfax Avenue that they will be filming in two houses.

It is unclear at this point if the show will be specifically for the United Kingdom version or if the show will be specifically for BBC America. The UK version of the show is currently preparing for its fourth season. Each season has consisted of either six or seven episodes. The previous episodes have taken place at Newcastle General Hospital and Royal Victoria Infirmary, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

This series has been one of the most successful factual entertainment programs for BBC. It is estimated that the Nashville series will pour over a million dollars into the local economy.
