Real Estate News | New Park Proposed in Edgehill

Real Estate is always changing and today is no different!  Councilwoman Erica Gilmore presented plans last week for a new mini-park located along Grand Avenue between Villa Place and 14th Avenue. The three-block stretch would include three separate areas: a plaza, a streetscape, and open space for a children’s park. The plaza area on the Villa Place end of the park will include green space as well as stone seating areas, a sculpture garden, and entry pillars. From there to 15th Avenue, a streetscape will be created along Grand Avenue. This will include flowering trees, rain gardens, and decorative street lighting. Finally, the children’s play area runs between 15th and 14th Avenues. An entry sign will designate the natural playground of green space, tree swings, and a meandering sidewalk through the final block of the park.
