Two new eateries will begin operations in Williamson County in the coming months.
Nashville’s famously adored food truck The Grilled Cheeserie announced plans to start roaming the streets of Cool Springs within the month or so in addition to the popular midwestern franchise restaurant Culver’s announcement to open a location in Franklin this summer.
The Grilled Cheeserie was met with incredible success here in Nashville last year and has since been named Nashville’s “Best Foodtruck” by the Nashville Scene’s yearly ‘Best Of…’ poll. The food truck is known for using local ingredients to create gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches that remind customers of the childhood favorite, but with a grown-up flair. Homemade soups are available to accompany the sandwiches, which range from make-your-own melts to specialty concoctions, like The B&B (local Buttermilk Cheddar, Benton’s bacon, and orange and cranberry marmalade on multi-grain bread), The Pimento Mac & Cheese (homemade pimento cheese with local cheddar, macaroni, bacon bits and thick sliced tomato on country white) and the Croque Madame (gruyere, rosemary ham and fried egg on rosemary garlic bread). Be sure to catch The Grilled Cheeserie in Cool Springs once its new truck is up and rolling!
Another new eatery preparing to call Williamson County home is the popular midwestern franchise Culver’s. Best known for their ButterBurgers and “Concretes,” or thick frozen custard treats, the restaurant will occupy a 4,100-square-foot restaurant on part of the Walmart parking lot facing Mallary Lane by June, pending final construction approvals.
