New Development in Nashville’s Hillsboro Village Draws Attention

In the popular Nashville community Hillsboro Village, it is nearly impossible for buyers to find a newly constructed home.  To fulfill the demand for new homes in this area, H&K Investments is developing ten homes in the West End-Hillsboro Village area.  The homes will range from 1,500 to 2,100 square feet and be anywhere from $350,000 to $420,000, said Village Real Estate Services Realtor Virginia Degerberg.  She continued to share that it is possible to find a new in-fill house in Hillsboro Village, but 10 new homes is unheard of.  Sandra and Chris Hoff purchased their new home off of 33rd Avenue just a few hours after it went on the market while the builder had not even finished the home.  Small families and single adults are typically attracted to this area, offering great entertainment options, schools, and a great in-town location.

Another buyer, Jason Ritchason, has already agreed to purchase the tenth and final home built by the builders.  The home has the exact same floor plan as the Hoff’s, “with a great floor plan and in a great neighborhood.”  Ritchason was looking to downsize from his 6,000+ square foot home in Green Hills.  “It’s in the middle of West End and Hillsboro Village. You could walk either way. And it’s a stone’s throw from the interstate,” says Ritchason.  As mentioned earlier, the Hoffs bought the first home completed in the new Hillsboro Village development.  The second house to be built lies next door, with three bedrooms, 2½ baths and 1,860 square feet.  The home is almost finished and is on the market for $399,000. It has wonderful features such as a second-story front porch off the master bedroom and an open floor plan. There is a fireplace, which divides the dining area and the living room. The kitchen has granite countertops and a tile backsplash.  Regardless of the current state of the market, it is no surprise that the Hoff’s purchased as quickly as they did.  It is a rarity to find a newly constructed home with such fantastic features and a reasonable price in Hillsboro Village.  If you’re looking for a new home in this area, stay tuned for more information as the homes are being developed (source) (picture source).
