New coffee shop opens in Woodbine area | Nashville Restaurants

A new coffee shop is now open in the Woodbine area!

Woodbine Coffee Co. opened today and quickly sold out of its breakfast menu, which features baked goods from Flour. Sugar. Eggs. and other options. This new coffee shop serves fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to specialty coffee drinks.

“We are definitely geared toward the neighborhood,” said Eddie Christy, who owns the new Woodbine Coffee Co. with partner Joey Titkos.

While the shop has a regular espresso menu with cafe Americano, lattes and more, guests also can order pour-over coffees such as V60 and Chemex, and try other various brewing processes that bring out different flavors of the coffee. There will be specialty drinks, too, that change with the season, such as the Sule, a rosemary vanilla latte with housemade syrup, or the Sabai, a chilled drink of coconut milk, housemade ginger syrup and lemon zest. The shop currently uses an espresso blend from the local Humphreys Street Coffee Company, which is part of the nonprofit organization Harvest Hands.

“We are just trying to make sure we have some fresh options,” Christy said. Christy also wanted to make the decor comfortable yet detailed, using all repurposed and refinished woods, exposed concrete and bricks.

The shop has been two and a half years in the making, but the neighborhood has always been the primary focus.

Woodbine Coffee Co. hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday. They are located at 2519 Nolensville Pike.
