More apartments are coming to Nashville! The apartments will be located in the Belmont/Hillsboro neighborhood, next to Belmont University.
A small brick condo building that is currently located adjacent to a nearby nursing home on Wedgewood Avenue will be demolished this summer to make way for a three-story, 15-unit apartment building perfect for students and young professionals. Most of the existing building’s tenants have vacated as preparations are underway for demolition to start in July.
The units will be mostly tw0-bedroom (although three units will be single bedrooms) and will be a great location for those wanting to be close to the popular Hillsboro Village neighborhood.
The project, which will cost around $2.5 million, is slated to open by next summer. There is currently no information available as to how much the units will cost per month in rent, but comparable rentals in the area run around $1,500 a month.
Stay tuned, as more information about this development is sure to be released over the next couple of months. For more information about the real estate market in the Belmont/Hillsboro neighborhood, visit here.
