A new apartment complex will soon be calling Music Row home.
The intersection of 16th and Horton avenues will soon be home for an 86-unit apartment project that is expected to open in about 12 months. A two-story vacant building currently occupies the site, but will be demolished before the five-story complex goes up. The complex will include two levels of parking for its residents.
Stonehenge DCM, an Atlanta based developer, will be in charge of the project and say the units will be marketed to young professionals. Rental rates are still being evaluated for the units.
With both Belmont and Vanderbilt within walking distance and downtown a short drive away, the complex is expected to be met with a warm welcome and help fill the demand for housing in the Music Row neighborhood.
