Located on 200 acres on the property of the old Croft House, the Nashville Zoo has 400 different animal species on its property. With animals that range from African Elephants to the Red Panda there are a wide variety of animals that are sure to delight every member of the family. And for those reptile and amphibian lovers, the Nashville Zoo also has Northern Copperheads and Blue Poison Arrow frogs.
The zoo also has many different events monthly. Friday the zoo will have it’s June installment of Zoovie Nights with family friendly activities and a viewing of the movie Madagascar. Also, look out for Ice Day on July 27 for a way to cool off in the hot July sun!
And for those who haven’t seen the news from a few months ago, there have been a few new Clouded Leopards born! While they are not on display yet, they are definitely something to look forward to seeing.Prices for the zoo are:
