Nashville | Investing in Real Estate

Are you considering investing in real estate?  Recent rankings put Nashville in the number two spot for cities that are great for real estate investing.  According to an article on Market Watch, there are certain college towns where your investments in homes and rental properties are sure to pay off.  Investors are looking more and more into college towns as a great place to invest.  The demand for rental units is usually high, vacancy runs low, and monthly rental prices are consistently going up.  With an unpredictable stock market, real estate could be a more stable market for long-term investment.  Homes in Nashville had a median list price of $189,000 in June 2011. Rental Prices for a two bedroom average $949 and for a three bedroom average $1,020.  That more than covers the average monthly mortgage payment for an average listing price.   In addition to the rising rent prices, Nashville has 16 diverse colleges and universities of which all of them are at full freshman capacity.  Most freshman live on campus, so where does that leave everyone else? Renting homes!  Nashville is definitely a great place to invest in real estate.  If you or someone you know is interested in talking about investing, let us know.  Prices are low, interest rates are low, investment properties are available.
