The 45th annual festival brings film lovers scenes from around the world, but also features many films with Music City ties, including several shot exclusively here. One example: “Boulevard,” filmed in Nashville in 2013, stars Robin Williams, Bob Odenkirk (“Breaking Bad”) and Kathy Baker (“Picket Fences”).
The Nashville Film Festival takes place at Regal Green Hills Stadium 16, 3815 Green Hills Village Drive, and brings many special events, including red carpets.
Tickets for individual films are on sale at www.nashvillefilmfestival.org and at the Regal Green Hills box office. NaFF membership and VIP packages range from $45 to $1,500, with higher levels, including access to the VIP tent and opening and closing parties, also available at the website.
This year, the festival is extending its festivities to Walk of Fame Park in downtown Nashville, which will host free daily outdoor screenings at 8 p.m. For a full schedule, visit www.nashvillefilmfestival.org/downtown-event-schedule.
