Nashville B-Cycle is a bike sharing initiative that has made available 190 urban bicycles to rent and ride, with 20 automated kiosks around the city. If you are looking for a no-emission way to get around in the city, look no further. Nashville B-Cycles are free for the first hour and only $1.50 for each additional half-hour, and annual, monthly, weekly, and daily memberships are available. The B-Cycles can even track mileage and calories burned, as well as the environmental benefits of bike riding.
This Friday, March 8, from noon to 1pm in the Fifth Third Plaza, Nashville B-Cycle will be holding a spring celebration event. There will be brief remarks from Mayor Karl Dean, live coverage on Lightening 100, food trucks, demo bike rides, and free giveaways. A free Nashville B-Cycle shirt will be given to anyone who rides a B-Cycle to the event and signing up for an annual membership will earn you $10 worth of B-Cycle swag!
