If you like great food, wine and spirits, mark your calendar for Music City Eats on September 21 and 22.
Started by Caleb and Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon, chef Jonathan Waxman, Austin-based C3 Presents and Vector Management’s Ken Levitan and Andy Mendelsohn, Music City Eats will bring together top chefs for a food festival that takes place in historic venues in downtown Nashville. World renowned chefs Tom Colicchio, Giada De Laurenetiis, Michael Symon, Jonathan Waxman, Tim Love among a few team up with country music superstar Trisha Yearwood to provide attendees with top culinary treats that will leave everyone anxiously awaiting next year’s event.
The three biggest events of Music City Eats are definitely not to be missed. The opening Saturday night is Harvest Night, where top chefs join with local farmers and create a local masterpiece for all attendees to try. The not-to-be-missed Petty Fest will also take place during Music City Eats. Kings of Leon, the Cabin Down Below Band and many special guest will lead a tribute to the legendary Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The other major event of the weekend is Flavors of Nashville. Flavors of Nashville brings together top chefs from the area to provide guest with tantalizing treats showcasing what makes Nashville great.
There are two different ticket packages to choose from. The two-day pass, which is $275, includes cooking demos and panel discussions, wine, beer and spirits tastings, Saturday & Sunday Flavors of Nashville and a 1-year subscription to FOOD & WINE®
