This year, Movies in the Park is being held at Percy Warner Park’s cross country fields, located on Highway 100 just a short drive from downtown. Warner Park offers hiking trails, scenic views, golf courses, running courses, picnic areas and more. The new location gives attendees the chance to arrive early and enjoy some outdoor activities before settling down for the movie of the night.
Another Nashville favorite, food trucks, will be participating in Movies in the Park again this year along with other food vendors. Moe’s Southwestern Grill, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Stonehouse Q, Kona Ice, The Grilled Cheeserie and Moose Head Kettle Corn will be ready to serve their delicious foods, drinks and desserts each week .
This summer’s movie line up:
June 6 – The Help
June 13 – Shrek
June 20 – Twilight: Breaking Dawn
June 27 – Captain America (edited version)
And as always: parking is FREE. Movies are FREE. So go out and enjoy time with your community, family and friends on Thursday nights for Movies in the Park! For more information, visit their facebook page here.
