Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum- This tour allows to to explore the life of Loretta Lynn. From her beginnings as a Coal Miner’s daughter to country all-star. The 18,000 square foot museum has an amassed collection of memorabilia and awards from her career. As well as gifts from her beloved friends in the entertainment business.
Frontier Homestead- Step back in time and visit her newly added tour. The original log cabins are completely furnished and include main living quarters, kitchen and tool room. There are over four hundred artifacts on display including a vast array of utensils, cookware, horse-drawn equipment, clothing, and wagons!
Loretta’s Haunted Plantation- After moving to Hurricane Mills in 1966, the Lynn Family heard stories of the Plantation Home being haunted.A woman dressed in white and two Civil War Soldiers have been seen on many occasions. Strange sounds and happenings are commonplace in the home. The woman in white is Beula Anderson who, after the death of her newborn son, died twelve days later from grief. Sightings of her crying and wringing her hands have been witnessed at the Plantation Home and Anderson Cemetery.
Grist Mill Museum- This tour hosts a variety of equipment used in the production of corn meal in the late 1800’s. It is also home to the original generator that produced electricity to the Mill and Plantation Home. Early pictures of the Plantation Home, the original Post Office, re-created General Store and Moonshine Still are also highlighted in the Mill.
Native American Artifact Museum- Loretta Lynn is of Indian Heritage so to preserve the historic culture she opened this museum. Over 5,000 artifacts and relics are on display inside. There are also modern made Indian relics on sale in the gift stores.
Loretta’s Fan and Doll Museum- This museum is actually located in the Grist Mill. However, this museum has its own theme, dolls and gifts given to Loretta by her loving fans!
