The Live on the Green line-up for this fall was recently released and it appears that this year’s artists are going to put on quite the schedule of shows!
Live on the Green is a free outdoor concert series that happens every Thursday in the fall in downtown Nashville at Public Square Park. The event highlights local acts along with national artists who may have a connection to Nashville. This event also brings the community together with music to utilize and encourage environmentally-friendly practices at the same time!
Some of the happenings of Live on the Green that help make it a “green” event include:
- Location of the event, the Public Square Park, is actually a 2.25 acre green roof that sits on top of a 5-level underground parking garage – the structure incorporates a 57,000-gallon rainwater collection system that’s used to irrigate the green roof throughout the year
- Recycling centers are located around the event for aluminum cans, plastic cups and paper products
- A free bike check is offered.
- All merchandise for sale made from eco-friendly materials and inks
The line-up for this year is as follows:
Jon Cleary, Moon Taxi, Dr. John
Delta Spirit + two others yet to be announced
Roots of a Rebellion, Missing Cats featuring John ‘JoJo’ Hermann & Sherman Ewing, North Mississippi Allstars
Fly Golden Eagle, The Apache Relay, Alabama Shakes
