Live on the Green Schedule Released | Nashville Events

    The Live on the Green line-up for this fall was recently released and it appears that this year’s artists are going to put on quite the schedule of shows!

    Live on the Green is a free outdoor concert series that happens every Thursday in the fall in downtown Nashville at Public Square Park. The event highlights local acts along with national artists who may have a connection to Nashville. This event also brings the community together with music to utilize and encourage environmentally-friendly practices at the same time!

    Some of the happenings of Live on the Green that help make it a “green” event include:

    • Location of the event, the Public Square Park, is actually a 2.25 acre green roof that sits on top of a 5-level underground parking garage – the structure incorporates a 57,000-gallon rainwater collection system that’s used to irrigate the green roof throughout the year
    • Recycling centers are located around the event for aluminum cans, plastic cups and paper products
    • A free bike check is offered.
    • All merchandise for sale made from eco-friendly materials and inks
