We have another food truck to add to Nashville’s ever-growing fleet! Labor of Love Mobile Food serves up authentic Philly Cheesesteaks made by owners and Philadelphia natives Jennifer Zungolo and Christopher Eddis. These two make everything on the menu except the Philadelphia rolls – those are shipped to Nashville from a bakery in Philadelphia that has been open for over 100 years. With lean, USDA-choice top sirloin and your choice of provolone or American cheese, the cheesesteaks are certainly the most popular item on the menu. Not to be overlooked, however, are the meatball subs and the Italian homemade water ices made with real fruit. Currently, the Labor of Love truck is open Wednesday through Friday from 11 am to 2 pm in the United Methodist Publishing parking lot at 8th Avenue and Clark. You can get fresh 6-inch Philly cheesesteaks for $4 or 12-inch subs for $7, and top them with grilled fresh mushrooms and green peppers for an extra 50 cents.
Think the Labor of Love truck should make a stop near your Nashville neighborhood? They’re looking for new places to visit! Check them out on Facebook or call 397-5396.
