Halloween is such a fun and exciting time for children, but sometimes it can be hard to find places appropriate for young children amongst the scary haunted houses and frightening corn mazes that are so popular at this time of year.
The Nashville Zoo is making it easier for parents to find places fun and appropriate for the entire family. Its Ghouls at Grassmere event is geared for families with children ages 12 and under, with all proceeds from the event used for Zoo funding.
The annual Ghouls at Grassmere event has several different Halloween activities to appeal to parents and children alike, including a Haunted Hayride, Monster Lab, Scary-Go-Round, 20 themed stations and the Carn-Evil. Wearing costumes is encouraged for this night of ghoulish and spooktacuar fun!
Ghouls at Grassmere runs 5-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday during the remaining October weekends: 21st-23rd and 28th-30th. Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for non-members and are available for advance online. Visit the Nashville Zoo website for more information.
