Summer is closing in faster than anyone could expect and with that the wide array of outdoor experiences that come with it. Yard sales! The summer months are packed with them. From sidewalks, to yards, to porches over the next few months more than a doze yard sales will be held in or around Middle Tennessee!
The sales to be on the look out for are not just individual yard collections but the community wide sales. Many sales are contributed to be multiple groups and end up in gyms or large halls. These provide a large assortment of treasures for the seasoned scavenger!
Getting to the sales early obviously offers the best selection. However, near the end of the day when the sale workers are worn out and ready to move things on, they will offer the best prices. Here is a list of some of the sales going on in the spring/summer!
April 24- 25: Raintree Forest subdivision in Brentwood
May 2: Westhaven in Franklin. Sale in the parking lot of residents club and at homes throughout the neighborhood.
May 2: Princeton Hills off Franklin Road and Murray Lane in Brentwood.
May 2. Fieldstone Farms
May 2. Belle Rive, Foxland Hall, and McGavock subdivisions
May 2: Fairvue Plantation communitywide yard sale in Gallatin.
May 16: The Sylvan Park neighborhood sale.
May 16: Kingston Springs is having a citywide sale.
June 6 : Richland West End in Nashville
June 6: McFarlin Pointe in Smyrna McFarlin Pointe’s 9a. From Nolensville Rd – left on Kidd to McFarlin Rd. From Smyrna – I-24 to Waldron Rd, right on Lake Rd.
June 13: Temple Hills neighborhood in Franklin. Participating homes place balloons on their mailboxes.
June 18-20: Stuff Galore sale at the Ladies of Charityshop, 2216 State St.
June 26-27: The Cross Plains “Trash or Treasure” sale is always the last full weekend in June.
