Rusty Dunn, a real estate investor, has bought a 0.73-acre property right off Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. The site has given him more space to help pitch an idea for a multifamily project.
The site has a service station-style building that’s occupied by car repair shop P.O. Slim Frame Alignment. Dunn paid $500,000 for the area located at 1729 Rosa L. Parks.
Dunn controls 1.84 acres in Historic Buena Vista. Before this purchase Dunn owned an acre of vacant land at 1715 Rosa L. Parks where a plan for condos fell through.
“This will be the first potential good-size project for Buena Vista,” Dunn said. The addition of the 1.84 acres can accommodate a 250-unit apartment development.
Buena Vista is cheaper to build on than Germantown, allowing developers to design a great project and charge less rent!
