Full Moon Pickin’ Party| Nashville Events

Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend? We suggest you head on out to Warner Park to enjoy some great bluegrass music at the Full Moon Pickin’ Party! This event is a fundraiser where all proceeds goes to Warner Parks to help protect the parks and also fund educational programs and special projects. Live entertainment and helping out Warner Park? Count me in!

This year marks the 15th Annual Full Moon Pickin’ Parties. These fundraisers are held once a month from May-October. They are held on the Friday closest to the full moon every month, hence the name. September 25th and October 23rd are your last chances this year to experience this fun event.  Musicians even get the chance to to record a jam session in the Stable Sessions by Friend of Warner Parks’ partner, Dark Horse Institute.

The Full Moon Pickin’ Parties are held at Warner Park Equestrian Center located at 2500 Old Hickory Boulevard. This is a really entertaining, family-friendly event. People of all ages will enjoy attending this fundraiser. Warner Parks website says this about the fundraisers, “These laid-back, family-friendly fundraisers feature Middle Tennessee’s finest bluegrass music under the light of a full moon. Musicians and music lovers alike are invited to enjoy this beloved Nashville tradition. Bluegrass and roots pickers jam in circles under the trees and around the grounds, while three headlining acts perform on the main stage.” The events start at 7 pm and go to 11 pm.
