The construction of two incoming Franklin Pike developments–23Hundred at Berry Hill and The Melrose–is well underway, providing the Berry Hill neighborhood stretch of Franklin Pike with a bit of a facelift and revamp.
Developers saw this section worthy of improvement due to its close proximity to several other hot Nashville neighborhoods, including the quickly-growing 12South neighborhood.
23Hundred Berry Hill, which we blogged about a few months ago, will feature 260 luxury one-and two-bedroom apartments dispersed among eight floors. The amenities include a saltwater pool with adjoining spa, outdoor grilling area with fire pit and cabanas, fitness club, rooftop lounge (with billiards, bars, and TVs), sky deck, songwriter’s lounge with karaoke, chef’s kitchens, cyber café, tanning beds, bike racks, electric car charging station, a pet park and on-site ATM machines.
The Melrose, which we also blogged about a few months ago here, will be designed as a mixed-up development with space for a restaurant, retail and office space and 220 high-end apartments. This project, which is reusing and revamping parts of the historic Melrose Theater building, will feature two buildings; 86 units will be attached to the existing center’s side and rear and 134 units will be added directly behind the building with parking located underground.
In the theatre lobby are plans for a restaurant with the existing in-line retail being expanded to include shops ranging from 1,200 to 4,800 square feet. Melrose Billiards, which has called its location next to the Theater home for 60 years, will stay.
We’ll keep you updated on their statuses in the coming months as the units will be sure to go fast when they are completed. Visit the 23Hundred Berry Hill website here.
