Food Trucks Come Together to Battle It Out for a Good Cause

Food Trucks have furiously spiked in popularity here in Nashville over the past six months or so (much to our delight!) and for the first time ever next month, they will all be meeting in one place to battle it out!

Okay, so they won’t really be battling it out, but they will all be in one place, at Greer Stadium, so that it’s easier for everyone to walk around and sample them. It can be hard to catch the many food trucks during their routes around the city, with all of them offering different hours of operations and locations city-wide. The fun part is that after sampling each truck, participants will have the chance to vote for their favorite one!

The Battle is for a good cause, too. Not only will proceeds help to support The Tomorrow Fund of the Community Fund of Tennessee, but if you bring five canned food items to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank, you’ll be given a free drink ticket.

The Battle of the Food Trucks will be at Greer Stadium on Oct. 2 from 3-6 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Food Trucks include: Deg Thai, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, JonBalaya, Love Shack, Maggie’s Mobile Slab, Moovers & Shakers, Riff’s, Taste of Belgium, Terradelicious, The Cupcake Collection, Izzies Ice, Fleur de Lis, Tin Can Treats, Mere Bulles, The Latin Wagon, Smoke et al, Mean Green Ice Cream Machine, and Sugar Wagon.
