Fontanel adds a boutique inn designed by Southern Living and a distillery to its list of amenities!
The mixed use complex located in Whites Creek, northwest area of Nashville, also includes a mansion, amphitheater, cafe, trails, zip-line, and gallery. The addition of the boutique and distillery, brings Fontanel’s goal of being a little slice of country that has everything that much closer.
The Inn at Fontanel is built to take after the Middle Tennessee farmhouse style. The five-story hotel opened in February but has plans to open another 140 luxury hotel rooms in the Fall of 2015. The hotel boasts a 2,700 square feet wrap-around porch that connects the entire inn and looks over the courtyard of gardens and Porter’s Pond. Guests will all share the two-story Great Room which contains a dining room, kitchen and living room.
Staying at the Inn doesn’t just include complimentary breakfast and a honor system wet bar. It also opens the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of activities and entertainment. Tours are available of the 27,000 square foot log mansion of famous country star Barbara Mandrell. There are also hiking trails and unique shopping experiences at the Goo Goo Outpost or Farm House Store. The most recent add on to the shopping district is Prichard Distillery. The Distillery will occupy the grounds sporting the same award-winning American spirits as it’s original production home in historical Kelso, Tennessee.
