Dolly Parton gives sneak peek at new Dollywood resort | Nashville News

Country music superstar Dolly Parton gave a sneak peek of the progress on her new DreamMore Resort at the Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge on Monday.

New conceptual renderings spotlight the resort’s three-story lobby, which features a view of Mt. LeConte in the distance, and a look at the two-story architectural window, which creates a focal point for the property’s rear elevation, resort officials said.

The 230,000-square-foot Dollywood’s DreamMore resort will offer more than 300 guest rooms. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort is the second capital investment in a 10-year plan that includes more $300 million in future developments for Dollywood properties.

The resort will feature a variety of room types, including reunion suites that link adjoining rooms to create extended, connected family space.

“I want folks who stay at Dollywood’s DreamMore resort to experience the same heartfelt hospitality that they’ve come to know at my Dollywood theme park,” Parton said.

Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort will be situated on 100 acres near the theme park.

The resort will feature an indoor and outdoor resort pool complex, a spa and a full-service farmhouse-style restaurant. It will also have a family activities center where guests can secure reservations for a variety of family-centric adventures.

The resort is scheduled to open in summer 2015.
