Developer Adjusts Plans for Hillsboro Village Townhomes | Nashville Real Estate

The developer who holds plans to build townhomes in Nashville’s Hillsboro Village neighborhood recently altered his plans in an attempt to cater towards area residents’ concerns about its impact on traffic.

The townhome development, currently named Blakemore Village,  are planned to be located across from the Vanderbilt Practice field on 31st Ave. S., were originally planned to be built with 11 total units. The developer recently cut back on those plans and reduced that number to eight, which, while is less than originally planned, is still thought to be too many by area residents, who worry about the size of the lot, two-thirds of an acre, and its shape, which is triangular. The revised proposal will require a zone change and an update to the area’s community plan.

Developers are still trying to work with the community to develop the project based off their comments and feedback. The townhomes at Blakemore Village are slated to be higher end townhomes with two to three bedrooms, priced at around $450,000.
