This year’s show is expected to be the largest ever, with around 170 Tennessee-residing artists showcasing their work and a crowd size anticipated at around 40,000 to 50,000. Artists at the show display their crafts created through various mediums including wood, eggshells, clay and glass. Artists will also be giving demonstrations to show an inside look into the creative experience.
Admission and parking is free for the show, which will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m May 4-5 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 6.
The Tennessee Association of Craft Artists says the aim of the show is to encourage, develop and promote crafts and craftspeople in Tennessee, with proceeds from the show supporting it as well as the local artists who are exhibiting their work.
