The owner’s of the truck, Karl and Sarah Worley will be opening Biscuit Love Brunch. The restaurant is set to open this fall at 316 11th Avenue South in the Gulch. The venture will be a partnership with Fresh Hospitality who has a resume of many successful concepts in Nashville. Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, Taziki’s Cafe, and Padrino’s Pops are notable mentions from Fresh Hospitality and all focus traditionally on scratch made foods.
One can expect a full service brunch restaurant with continued use of fresh and locally sourced ingredients from 7 am- 3pm. The establishment will also serve brunch cocktails with a selection of craft beers. In addition, a grab and go pastry counter, a late-night menu on the weekends, and John’s Ham Bar will be present to continue the playful tradition Biscuit Love is known for across the city. The interior is expected to hold 80-100 inside with room on the back patio for approximately 40 more.
Those who have followed Biscuit Love for sometime, will be delighted to know that even though the menu will be much different than that of the truck, many of the greatest hits will make appearances in various forms. One example is the “Gertie” which features house ground peanut butter, caramelized banana jam and chocolate gravy and will be reintroduced as banana pancakes.
