The residents of the Belmont-Hillsboro area will be graciously opening their doors for the annual Tour of Homes, set to happen October 1st at 11 a.m.
The tour has been tradition for 15 years and continues to go strong with support and interest from locals and visitors alike. New to the tour this year for the first time is a LEED certified energy efficient building. Co-chair Ann Roberts said in a recent press release, “The historic homes of our neighbors uniquely blend the elegance and diversity of Nashville with our neighborhood passion for environment sustainability.”
The Italianate style of the 1850 Belmont Mansion as well as American Foursquares and Tudor Revivals will be among those featured on the 12-home tour of the neighborhood.
The tour will be conducted from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and will commence at 2700 Belmont Boulevard. Tickets may be purchased at beginning site for $10 (children under 12 are free). For advanced tickets, please visit Hillsboro Hardware, Helios Artglassworks or www.belmont-hillsboro.org/toh.
