Nashville’s Belcourt Theatre is hosting the nD Festival this weekend, an event that directly supports the Belcourt’s education and engagement programs. The event will feature special events and parties whose sole purposes are to celebrate indie film, fashion and music.
Not fully aware of what the Belcourt Theatre is? Taken directly off its website, The Belcourt Theatre is “a unique Nashville treasure with a vibrant historic past and deep roots in the community. Today, the Belcourt is a nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to presenting the best of independent, documentary, world, repertoire and classic cinema.”
Since the re-opening of the theatre in 1999, over a half million people have visited the Belcourt to see more than 1,000 films from every corner of the globe.
nD Festival is a three-day event, starting this Friday, Sept. 28 and going until Sunday, Sept. 30. Tickets can be purchased separately for each event. Tickets are good for the event as well as any post-film discussions and Q&As. Guests can also purchase a Patron Pass which includes free admission to all events (Patron Party included) as well as Belcourt cast/crew membership with year-round benefits.
All proceeds from this event go towards funding Belcourt’s efforts at film discussion, Q&As, film symposiums and community collaborations.
