Today marks the seventh day of our Nashville Staycation series! In this series we are giving readers a planned themed day out on the town to escape from your jobs, but not spend too much money by going on a vacation.

Breakfast: The Perch

Start your date day out with a stop at the Perch in Green Hills. Have a crepe or build your own omelette at this trendy new coffee house. With the new Perch Blend coffee designed specifically for The Perch’s customers, you will not be disappointed. If you are wanting to start your date morning a little further south in Brentwood, you can check out The Perch’s original shop on Franklin Road.

Morning Activity: Downtown Antique Mall

Go back in time at the Downtown Antique Mall. Filled with everything from the classic antique chair to that funky Bee Gees vinyl, the Downtown Antique Mall is the perfect place to spend hours looking for great new home decorations. This 13,500 square feet building is perfect for that trip down memory road.

Lunch: blvd

Spend your date day lunch at blvd Nashville. At blvd you can find a variety of “Le French Fries” and all types of sandwiches. Located right beside Belmont’s campus, it is in a great location that is easy to get to from just about anywhere. Combine these with a tradition soup or salad and you and your date will be sure to have a phenomenal lunch.

Afternoon Activity: Hot Air Balloon Ride at Arrington Vineyards

Spend your date day afternoon with a hot air balloon ride and wine tasting at Arrington Vineyards. You and your date will love a private hour long hot air balloon ride over the vineyards just after you’ve tasted some of the finest wine middle Tennessee has to offer. With chef Erik Anderson, The Catbird Seat offers some of the best cuisine Nashville has to offer. This is definitely a restaurant to save for a special occasion. Evening Activity: Nashville Symphony

There is only one place to go to finish off that perfect date day, the Nashville Symphony. Located in the beautiful Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Nashville Symphony combines traditional symphony music with the occasional guest performance. Winner of seven Grammy Awards, with seven other Grammy nominations, the Nashville Symphony is one of the top symphonies in the country.
