A Country Christmas at Opryland

There is no shortage of holiday celebration at Opryland this year! The resort’s 28th annual A Country Christmas returns again this year bigger than ever, loaded with events and entertainment sure to please both the oldest and youngest members of your family alike.

Through Dec. 24th, check out the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as the world-renowned Rockette’s return to Nashville, celebrating their 10th anniversary in Music City. An all new show comes with the promise that you will feel the magic of Christmas through every scene. For tickets and more information, visit here.

New this year is ICE! featuring DreamWorks Merry Madagascar. The talented ice artisans at Opryland have brought DreamWork Animation’s Merry Madagascar fully to life here in Nashville, in the form of 2 million pounds of larger-than-life colorful ice sculptures and incredible 20-foot-tall ice slides. The ICE! showcase will be on display through Jan. 3rd. For tickets and more information, visit here.

Louise Mandrell’s Christmas Dinner Party is a beloved part of Opryland’s A Country Christmas each year. The show begins with a traditional (and delicious) holiday meal and concludes with performances by Louise and her band, along with special guest Christy Sutherland. Dine with Louise and friends through Dec. 25th. For tickets and more information, visit here.

The Holly Jolly Town Square will be buzzing with Christmas spirit through Jan. 1. Here, guests will visit a town square as it might have appeared during the 1950s,  including shops on “main street,” a train running through the square, and reading by Mrs. Claus. For more information about what activities will be held in the Holly Jolly Town Square, visit here.

Of course, one of the reasons that makes Opryland so special at Christmas time is the dazzling display of millions of lights covering the property grounds. If nothing else, be sure to walk around and take in the sights and sounds of this festive and joyful holiday season.
