$75M luxury apartment project planned for Gulch | Nashville Developments

A new development is coming to the Gulch!

A Nashville developer has a contract to buy 1.8 acres in the Gulch and plans to build a $75 million high-rise building with 330 luxury apartment units. This deal goes along with the Gulch drawing new attention because of the proposed Division street extension.

The 23-story building that Division Street Land Partners LLC is planning will be named Crescendo. The site at 641 Division St. has been home to Myers Flooring for the past 13 years.

In addition to the apartments, the Crescendo project  will have space for ground-level retail shops and restaurants, along with an attached 600-space parking garage. The total building should top 350,000 square foot.

The property is immediately adjacent to where Division Street now dead ends. The proposed $20 million to $25 million extension planned by Metro includes a bridge over railroad tracks and an extension of Division Street to Ash Street.

Construction is expected to start by year’s end with completion expected in late 2016. The existing building is expected to be torn down, with Myers planning to build a new showroom on the remaining 1.2 acres on the west side of the property.
