It’s forecasted to be a beautiful weekend here in Nashville and we just found the perfect event to enjoy this Saturday evening! The 12South Concert Series will be happening at Sevier Park from 6-9 p.m. and this week there are three bands performing. Beginning at 6 p.m., The Watoos will kick things off, followed by Turkeys at 7 p.m. The night will finish off with The Coolin’ System, who will take the stage at 8 p.m.
Aside from great live music, the event will also feature raffle tickets, available for $1 but worth far more if you win! The prizes up for grabs will be one of three options: a customer pair of Imogene + Willie jeans (men’s or women’s), a Practical Massage gift certificate (30-minutes), or a 12South Concert t-shirt. T-shirts will also be available for those interested.
Should you choose to not pack your own picnic, there will also be food trucks parked on the corner of 12th and Kirkwood ready and waiting to feed you; look for Pizza Buds, Moovers & Shakers and the Mahlzeit German Food Wagon.
The concert series started in 2008 as a way for residents in the 12South community to come together and discover new local talent as well as invest in one another in a genuine way. It is a partnership of 12South area businesses and individuals and is in conjunction with the 12South Neighborhood Association and Belmont Hillsboro Neighbors.
The concert series will continue on September 24th and hold its final event on October 8th.
