New Eateries Coming to Nashville!
Several new eateries will be making their way to Nashville this summer, and food is something that we Nashvillian’s tend to LOVE! At least we do here at Nashville on the Move. So in order to keep everyone up to date on the new restaurants (and another food truck!) headed to Music City, we thought we’d fill you in on several that we’ve heard about over the past couple of weeks.
1. Puckett’s Boat House
Nashville and Franklin favorite, Puckett’s Grocery, is expanding in Franklin in the sites that were formerly known as Route 31 Cafe and Marcia’s Patisserie. Puckett’s Boat House will have a menu emphasizing – you guessed it – seafood, including oysters, fish, shrimp, as well as land-locked favorites like burgers and chicken dishes. In the former Marcia’s Patisserie space, a bait shop themed dessert and soda shop will go in, offering delicacies like fried pies, meringue, cookies and banana pudding. Puckett’s Boat House is expected to open its doors in early June.
There’s another new food truck on the block! RetroSno just recently hit the streets of Nashville, just in time to cool us Nashvillian’s down during these hot summer months! RetroSno is serving up classic Snoballs in all sorts of unique and tasty flavors. Snoballs – not to be confused with snow cones – are lighter and fluffier than their crushed-iced cousins, as the ice is shaved. What is left is a cold, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth treat perfect for a hot Nashville summer day. Like their location, their flavors are always changing, so its best to check their website or their twitter to figure out what they’re serving up, and where.
3. Einstein Bros.
National bagel and coffee chain Einstein Bros. will be finding home in Franklin this year. The bagel shop will be going into the former Jack in the Box store in Franklin. The popular chain runs more than 700 locations in 39 states in the U.S. and the Franklin location will be the first location in the Nashville area. The Einstein Bros. menu is not just bagels and coffee though, but also includes tasty and healthy sandwich options with options appropriate for all meals of the day.
4. Fresh to Order
Fresh to Order (f20) is coming to Nashville via the owner of popular steakhouse Stoney River. There are plans to bring about at least five new f20’s in the Nashville area, a restaurant that serves up fresh menu items like panini’s, sandwiches, soups, and salads in its casual dining atmosphere. This new concept eatery was foundedin 2006 on the vision of offering tasty, great and healthy food in under 10 minutes for around $10. We will provide more information about the f20 locations when it becomes available, so keep your eyes peeled!
