West Meade is a quiet oasis just a mile from the hustle and bustle of Nashville. Northwest of Belle Meade, the area is full of beautiful rolling lots, typically an acre each in size, with many 1950s and 60s ranch-style houses amongst lush woodlands and creeks. Many homes in West Meade fall under the $500,000 mark, but there remain a few multi-million dollar estates as well.  West Meade is full of beautifully treed lots and rolling hills with more moderately priced homes than Belle Meade. It is in close proximity to some of the most desirable private schools in Nashville and is just a short drive to Downtown.

Future predictions include more residential developments like Belle Meade Court for buyers to move into in this desirable section of town, as well as more renovation and renewal of existing homes and buying homes for the lots, for tear down and rebuilding.  This neighborhood is well established and balanced with most homes beginning to be priced just under $500,000.

West Meade attracts young professionals and newcomers to mix with more established families or empty nesters. Many of the ranch homes seen throughout the area are prime targets for renovation on beautiful hilly lots and offer quiet serenity. West Meade area homes begin in the lower $200,000’s and extend upward to a couple million. However, there are probably more available older homes under $500,000 than above it.

A cool dining spot in the area is 360 Bistro, a restaurant centered on the freshest ingredients with an ever-changing menu that highlights the best of what’s available that day. With over 50 wines by-the-glass and handmade signature cocktails, the drink menu is almost as fabulous as the food. For Italian fare loved by the locals, check out family-owned Finezza Bistro.
